Healthcare provider courses are intended for individuals that require training for medical licensure or certification. The following courses are provided by J&M Education as certified instructors through the American Heart Association.
BLS for Healthcare Providers
Course intended participants: Nurses, Nursing Students, Physicians, Dental professionals, PA’s, Paramedics, Respiratory therapists, Medical assistants, lifeguards, and other healthcare providers who are required to respond to a cardiac arrest in a healthcare environment. Students must participate and pass the written and skills portion of the course to obtain a certification.
ACLS or PALS
Courses are designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies in adults, or the management of respiratory and/or cardiovascular emergencies and cardiopulmonary arrest in pediatric patients. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, and paramedics, as well as others who need an ACLS or PALS course completion card for job or other requirements.
